have to say as a big fan of Apple products, my view of them in the past few weeks has dropped quite a bit, not from the PR shambles of the iPhone 4, but due to the quality control of the latest iMac’s. I waited like many other customers for the latest iMac to come out, as I knew that the previous generation was reaching the end of its life.
Like most people I don’t just have £1900 to throw around and when I spend that kind of money I want the best machine I can get and not only that, I even got rid of my last remaining PC to have this as my one and only to free up room for a child!
Low and behold the new iMac launched early this month and in just 17 days I am already about to have my fourth replacement and I’m not the only one judging from emails I’ve received and the forums are also full of complaints.
My issues have been the following:
